On March 7, 2009, the Brooklyn Street Singers competed in our first competition EVER at the Bishop Luers Show Choir Invitational. With a roaring crowd cheering us on, we received 3rd runner up, best middle school stage crew & our very own 7th grade Nelson Martin won Best Male Vocalist of the entire competition!
